Leatherhead Register Office

The Leatherhead Register Office is situated in the Mansion. The first house on the site was built in the reign of Henry VIII and thought to have been rebuilt in 1710 by Alexander Akehurst. Some of its many occupants have been, a Royal Falconer, a Lord Lieutenant of Surrey and, during a period of notoriety, Lord Jeffreys, who became known as the “Hanging Judge”. The State room seats 50 guests plus a further 10 standing in the conservatory. The garden includes steps down to the grass where group shots and confetti photographs can be taken and a covered walkway with a beautiful view across the Surrey countryside.

Elaine Mayson, one of the professional wedding photographers at Leatherhead Register Office enjoys capturing your special day at this elegant and historic venue. Elaine offers you a personal photography service. She visits the location with you suggesting ideas and giving advice as well as listening to your requests. This ensures that your wedding runs smoothly with lots of fun and beautiful photographs to remember your special day.

All the photographs of your wedding day are put on a web gallery so friends and family can view the photographs and buy on line if they wish.

There is a selection of Photo Books hand designed by Elaine with exquisite graphic art work.

Elaine offers a wide range of bespoke wedding photography packages that are custom made to suit your budget and requirements. Please see the Packages Section of Elaine’s website for details and prices.
