Foxhills Wedding by Elaine Mayson Photography

A beautiful couple took their vows at Foxhills Manor House.  The bride was getting ready in the grounds of Foxhills in one of their newly decorated cottages.  The décor and space in the cottages gave a calming effect to the proceedings and helped the bride and her bridesmaids enjoy their time together.  A feminine lace bridal dress with long train was a perfect match for the blond and pretty bride. Flowers by Kate, recommended florist at Foxhills.  A wonderful ambiance gave Elaine Mayson Photography a chance to capture the complimenting colours and the bride and bridesmaids getting ready. The groom arrived in style at Foxhills all ready for his wedding ceremony . The ceremony over the couple take a moment to relax and enjoy the grounds of Foxhills Manor with

The Portrait Studio of Elaine Mayson Photography in Kingston Upon Thames

Andy is setting up a new web site and wanted warm friendly portraits of himself to sell his business.  He knew that I had a small but professional studio in Kingston Upon Thames down the road from his home.  A quick phone call secured him a booking at the new special rates.  He brought a selection of shirts and jumpers so that he had a chose of colours and style of photographs.

IMG_2909-2aThis more relaxed pose with the lovely aqua jumper was certainly my favourite of the shoot.  However after fully editing the photographs he had a selection of smart shirt portraits in different colours and different styles for every occasion.

IMG_1789aJo who was making up Andy’s web site loved his photos and decided to give me a ring.  We made a booking and she came round with an array of colourful tops.  She was looking for a relaxed, smart, radiant portrait.  No suits or high heels, no Vintage stylised look. Jo had a very clear idea of the  cheerful, vibrant style she wanted me to capture.  What a success story!

IMG_1797a

If you live in the Kingston Upon Thames area then do give me a ring.  Sessions last for an hour and you have plenty of time to get just the look and style you want.  Also ladies you are provided with  vintage hats, scarfs and coats so you have the option to have fun with a style you are not so familiar?  I fully edit the photos and provide them to you on a disc.

Foxhill’s Manor House & Golf Club Wedding Ceremony: St Georges College Chapel/Photography by Elaine Mayson

308aThe bridal couple were married in a traditional church service at St Georges College Chapel. A few years earlier I had photographed the wedding of Alan’s sister in the same chapel.  A friendly priest took the service in the intimate surroundings of the Chapel.  The bride wore a long beautiful lace dress which showed off her slim elegant figure. No hurting feet for her instead she wore a pair of white sparkly pumps.

Petersham Hotel & Pembroke Lodge Wedding in Richmond/ Photography by Elaine Mayson

400a

The bridal couple’s Wedding Day was full of joy and fun!  The rain could not dampen their joie de Vivre.  After the Wedding Service in Pembroke Lodge photographs were started in the porch.  Suddenly there was a break in the rain and Elaine Mayson of Elaine Mayson Photography managed to take atmospheric photographs of the couple in the grounds of Pembroke Lodge.  She also photographed all their group shots outside close to the porch.

043a058a‘The day started with the bride and her Mum and bridesmaids getting ready at The Petersham Hotel’ A beautiful room with Bay windows gave soft light to the preparations.

Photographs in black and white give a timeless feel to this traditional ritual.

The Petersham Hotel in Richmond, Surrey is famous for its regal spiral staircase so a quick photo shoot with the bridal party on the stairs was obligatory.

St Andrew’s, Surbiton & Pembroke Lodge, Richmond Park, Surrey

013aThe bridal couple were married at St Andrew’s church in Surbiton. The groom arrived early with all his ushers and best men.  I caught up with them as they entered the church on that mild late November morning. The bridesmaids arrived next and the excitement mounted in anticipation of the bride’s arrival.  She wore a glorious vintage style dress with stunning train and a stylish hat with veil.

160a

The couple arrived at Pembroke Lodge and Elaine Mayson one of the venues recommended photographers caught a fun moment.  The light was fading but all the family photos had been taken at the church.  This meant there was just enough time for Elaine to photograph the couple in the locations they wanted before entering the warm and welcoming Lodge.

Silvermere ‘Inn on the Lake,’ Surrey/ Photography by Elaine Mayson

310aThe bridal couple met up with Elaine Mayson Photography a recommended photographer at the venue in 2015 to discuss their wedding.  They told me they had booked Silvermere ‘Inn on the Lake’ because of the beautiful location by the lake.  They also found the staff friendly and their wedding breakfast room large and light, perfect for all their guests.  Saturday 4th July was a popular day for weddings and the weather did not disappoint.  The sky was blue and the sun shone.  The bride delicate & slim with large doe shaped eyes was a dream to photograph and so too was her handsome husband.  My assistant and I escorted the couple to a special designated spot where wedding couples can take advantage of the wonderful views over the lake but not risk a golf ball flying into their face.  A truly memorable day with lots of fun and laughter.
