Great Celebrations at the Olympia Hotel in Kensington London photographed by Elaine Mayson Photography. A Western style first dance choreographed partly by Elaine Mayson in the hotel room, they did so well and had fun! Then a true Iraqi party with festive music and a mouth watering array of Middle Eastern food. Delicious!
Lizzie’s parents live on Eel Pie Island so it was only natural that the reception of their daughter and soon to be husband, James would be held on the quirky Island at the Yacht Club. Firstly the Civil Ceremony was held at York House in Twickenham. The building has a large garden which is perfect for photographs.

After the service Lizzie and James reunite with their two year old son for a few family photographs with York House in the background.
The beautiful grounds at York House. Lizzie and James stop for a moment before walking down to the river.
A romantic kiss by the river Thames in Twickenham before making their way to the boat that was to take them round to their reception on Eel Pie Island.
The reception room was hung with blue and white lanterns. The guests enjoyed a good meal and entertaining speeches followed by a deliciously warm evening by the river with a terrific band.

A glorious morning up on Richmond Hill. Elaine Mayson Photography was taking the Engagement photos for Eleanor and Elliot. There was a buzz of excitement for not only was the sun shining and the day warm, but later Prince Harry was going to wed Meghan Markle. The World was going to see Great Britain at its best!
Elliot had proposed to Eleanor up here on the historic Richmond Hill and what better way of celebrating the act, but to have their Engagement photos marking the spot. Relaxed and enjoying the morning I was able to capture their happiness and joy!
Dame Monica Mason and Dame Darcey Bussell talked to the teachers at the Cecchetti Day hosted at the Royal Ballet School. They had many stories to recount regarding the production of Elite Syncopation, which was choreographed by Kenneth Macmillan and was one of his more light hearted pieces. I saw the ballet many years ago and loved it. It is being performed in April/May 2018 at the Royal Opera House.
Dame Darcey Bussell coached the dancers from the Royal Ballet company giving the demonstration, Mayara Magri and Nicol Edmonds.
Catherine Hutchon the Director of the Cecchetti Society thanks Dame Monica Mason and the Deputy Director Kate Simmons looks on with pride.
