Andy is setting up a new web site and wanted warm friendly portraits of himself to sell his business. He knew that I had a small but professional studio in Kingston Upon Thames down the road from his home. A quick phone call secured him a booking at the new special rates. He brought a selection of shirts and jumpers so that he had a chose of colours and style of photographs.
This more relaxed pose with the lovely aqua jumper was certainly my favourite of the shoot. However after fully editing the photographs he had a selection of smart shirt portraits in different colours and different styles for every occasion.
Jo who was making up Andy’s web site loved his photos and decided to give me a ring. We made a booking and she came round with an array of colourful tops. She was looking for a relaxed, smart, radiant portrait. No suits or high heels, no Vintage stylised look. Jo had a very clear idea of the cheerful, vibrant style she wanted me to capture. What a success story!
If you live in the Kingston Upon Thames area then do give me a ring. Sessions last for an hour and you have plenty of time to get just the look and style you want. Also ladies you are provided with vintage hats, scarfs and coats so you have the option to have fun with a style you are not so familiar? I fully edit the photos and provide them to you on a disc.
Jessica and Alan were married in a traditional church service at St Georges College Chapel. A few years earlier I had photographed the wedding of Alan’s sister in the same chapel. A friendly priest took the service in the intimate surroundings of the Chapel. Jessica wore a long beautiful lace dress which showed off her slim elegant figure. No hurting feet for her instead she wore a pair of white sparkly

A beautiful vibrant wedding at Pembroke Lodge. Juliette and Conrad were married in the Belvedere Suite. Then afterwards they strolled over to the porch. The wisteria was at it’s best and therefore a perfect location for photographs for recommended photographer Elaine Mayson. Certainly an iconic photo of this much loved venue in Richmond Park. The groom and ushers and his best man arrived first. Looking good! Let’s get this show on the road. The bride arriving in a beautiful floaty dress. Unconventional but stylish with a flavour of the vintage 1930’s. Abundant white flowers added glamour and wonderful perfume to the ceremony room. Juliette and Conrad kissed sealing their contract. Their family and friends looked on with cheers and smiles.
Signing their register in Pembroke Lodge’s Belvedere Suite. The best man certainly approved.
‘Party Time!’ Lots of singing, dancing and clapping during dinner to an amazing singer. Then the first dance a riot of fun and choreography! What a show!
Emma and Phillip’s Wedding Day was full of joy and fun! The rain could not dampen their joie de Vivre. After the Wedding Service in Pembroke Lodge photographs were started in the porch. Suddenly there was a break in the rain and Elaine Mayson of Elaine Mayson Photography managed to take atmospheric photographs of the couple in the grounds of Pembroke Lodge. She also photographed all their group shots outside close to the porch.
‘The day started with Emma and her Mum and bridesmaids getting ready at The Petersham Hotel’ A beautiful room with Bay windows gave soft light onto the preparations.
Photographs in black and white give a timeless feel to this traditional ritual.
Emma’s sisters and Mum were there to help with her dress and her shoes. Anticipation and happiness show in their faces at the beginning of this special day.
The Petersham Hotel in Richmond, Surrey is famous for its regal spiral staircase so a quick photo shoot with the bridal party on the stairs was obligatory.
Dad to the rescue. Rain on your wedding day brings lots of luck so they smiled and enjoyed the moment.

Ben and Amy were married at St Andrew’s church in Surbiton. Ben arrived early with all his ushers and best men. I caught up with them as they entered the church on that mild late November morning. The bridesmaids arrived next and the excitement mounted in anticipation of the bride’s arrival. Amy wore a glorious vintage style dress with stunning train and a stylish hat with veil.
The couple arrived at Pembroke Lodge and Elaine Mayson one of the venues recommended photographers caught a fun moment. The light was fading but all the family photos had been taken at the church. This meant there was just enough time for Elaine to photograph Amy and Ben in the locations they wanted before entering the warm and welcoming Lodge.
Zara and John met up with Elaine Mayson Photography a recommended photographer at the venue in 2015 to discuss their wedding. They told me they had booked Silvermere ‘Inn on the Lake’ because of the beautiful location by the lake. They also found the staff friendly and their wedding breakfast room large and light, perfect for all their guests. Saturday 4th July was a popular day for weddings and the weather did not disappoint. The sky was blue and the sun shone. Zara delicate slim with large doe shaped eyes was a dream to photograph and so too was her handsome husband. My assistant and I escorted the couple to a special designated spot where wedding couples can take advantage of the wonderful views over the lake but not risk a golf ball flying into their face. A truly memorable day with lots of fun and laughter.
