Rehearsals for the ballet based on my book ‘Ballerina in Danger’ by children of Kate Simmons Dance . Choreographed by Tracey Moss

I have adapted my book ‘Ballerina in Danger’ to be performed by the children at the Kate Simmons School.  Tracey Moss has choreographed the ballet and designed the costumes.  My characters in my book have come to life.  The glittery stars and Sparkly, Pooch and her Parisian poodle friends, Isabella, the little girl who loves pink and is special because she can see the Pink House.  Hagatha the wicked witch and of course the beautiful Ballerina and all her corps de ballet.  I drove up to photograph all these wonderful roles and take photographs of the children rehearsing.  It was great fun! Everybody was enjoying dancing and they all looked gorgeous in their costumes.  Chukkas next weekend to all the 80 children for the performances on the 24th and 25th March at 3pm at the Brindley Theatre in Runcorn.

Ballerina’s in ‘Ballerina in Danger’ waiting to dance at their rehearsal in Warrington at  KSDance school.  Watch this space for photographs from the actual shows!
